our pledge ...

The Mullane Healy Godley Academy provides a fun, supportive, family environment that centers on the development of the student's greater sense of confidence and self esteem, while learning the finer disciplines and intricate techniques of an internationally treasured cultural dance form.

Our philosophy ...

Our philosophy at the Mullane-Healy-Godley Irish Dance  Academy is to instruct each student to the best of their ability, maximizing the potential of each student, in a safe and disciplined environment, yet making the experience fun, and enjoyable and one of the most memorable experiences of their childhood.  At Mullane-Healy-Godley, each dancer and family can decide their own pace and level of participation in Irish dance.

We want our dancers to enjoy coming to classes, giving performances and/or going to competitions. The skills taught in Irish dance go beyond the four walls of the dance studio, and have proven to be invaluable many years later.  Irish Dance can be instrumental in building a child's self-confidence, empowerment, independence, discipline, grace and precision, but most importantly each child will leave Mullane-Healy-O'Brien with true, strong, meaningful friendships that will span a lifetime.

We believe that one of our greatest assets is the diversity of the Mullane  Healy Godley teaching staff. Although each teacher is the primary instructor in their own studio and class, all teachers travel among the various locations to work with all of the students in the school.  Each teacher brings a different perspective and approach to the students, and each teacher relies on their own strengths to further develop the abilities and talents of the dancers.   The teaching faculty at Mullane-Healy-Godley is an international fusion of some of the most highly accomplished and decorated teachers of the history of Irish Dance.

With small class sizes, students receive personal attention from their teachers, and are guided on the focus of proper form and technique, as well as stamina, flexibility and presentation.  The Academy nurtures each and every students dance career with precision, from the beginner level through to being a World Champion.  This precision, along with dedication, and enthusiasm has made the Academy one of the most respected and successful Irish Dance schools, in North American and throughout the World.

Equally important to the student's enjoyment of dancing, is the establishment of friendships among the dancers, and learning to support each other and work as a team. Team dancing, such as figure dancing and figure choreographies allow dancers the opportunity to work as a group and develop as a team to reach their goals.

From our tots and beginners to our World Champions, the Mullane Healy Godley students learn to celebrate and indulge in the culture and heritage of the art form Irish Dance.  Students are taught to nurture their mind with great thoughts in order to reach their potential; they are taught to work together toward a common vision; the ability to direct individual accomplishments toward collective objectives; they are taught self-belief, to dream of success, and to be modest and graceful in celebrating such success.
